Lauren A. Holland - Managing Partner
Lauren A. Holland is a Wall Street professional with over 20 years of experience in investment research and portfolio management. Currently, she is Senior Credit Analyst and Global Head of Paper & Packaging at CreditSights, an independent credit research firm. Lauren began her career in Finance at Lehman Brothers as a high yield analyst. She has also spent time at Citi, Raeburn Advisors and BOE Securities. Additionally, Lauren was a partner in Emblask, LLC. a credit focused macro hedge fund.
As far as public service, Lauren recently served as Co-Chair, Special Events for the Eastern Region of Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority Inc. and is currently Budget & Finance Chair for the North Manhattan Alumnae Chapter. She is a member of the Advocates Board of Fiver Children’s Foundation, an organization that supports urban youth in the journey from grade school to college.
Lauren holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from The University of Oklahoma and an MBA with an emphasis in Finance and Entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Angel Stewart - Recruiting Consultant
Angel, a native of Sacramento, California, is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles. Angel joined The Robert Toigo Foundation as the Program Coordinator, the second full time professional of the Foundation shortly after it’s founding to support diverse professionals pursuing their MBA degree and an investment career. Once again, she was quickly promoted to Executive Director, with the responsibilities of recruiting prospective “Fellows,” securing their summer MBA internships and then coaching and placing these smart young professionals into career opportunities. She also worked with the Toigo board for fundraising and she recruited and assigned mentors.
After many years with Toigo and many business trips to NYC, Angel was recruited into Morgan Stanley in NYC as the Vice President of Diversity. Subsequently, she joined Goldman Sachs as a Vice President of Human Capital Management for Investment Banking and Private Equity recruiting, though not specifically responsible for diversity recruiting. Of course, the organization knew Angel from Toigo and knew that she would conduct general recruiting from a diversity perspective. And she did.
Following Goldman, Angel led recruiting for the relaunch of the International Division of New York Life, initially as a Consultant but was soon convinced to join the firm full-time. Again, the role was not a diversity recruiting role, however, the hiring of brilliant professionals who happened to be from diverse backgrounds increased significantly and globally, and she received an Outstanding Performance Award. At the same time, Angel accepted an Adjunct (part time) Advisor role with the Haas School of Business to advise and facilitate graduate students seeking a career on Wall Street.
In 2022, after 20+ years of doing what Angel does uniquely and exquisitely: match outstanding organizations to brilliant talent who happen to be from diverse backgrounds McCain Stewart was launched. Angel remains connected to the Toigo organization as an independent consultant, and she is forever part of the Toigo ‘Family’.
Angel is bi-coastal, spending most of her time in New York City but still an active member of the Sacramento community. She is the Director of Mentoring Black Sisters/The Miss Black Sacramento Scholarship Pageant, a well known non profit mentoring organization founded by her grandmother in 1970.
